Tottenham shirts from the 1990s rereleased to celebrate anniversary, and they've already sold out THFC
American clothing brand Pony have rereleased two Tottenham shirts from the 1990s to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
An iconic white shirt and a memorable purple and navy away strip were put on the label’s website on Wednesday, but have already sold out withPony have released the home strip from 1997 to 1999The classic Spurs white home shirt with the navy V-neck, matching detailing on the sleeve, old school badge and HP sponsor was priced at £65.50.
The strip was worn from 1997 to 1999 by the likes of Jurgen Klinsmann and Les Ferdinand and used for the 1999 League Cup final that saw Spurs beat Leicester City at Wembley.Meanwhile the away strip, which was Tottenham’s kit from 1995 to 1997, was also the same price.Pony were Spurs’ official kit manufacturers from 1995/96 up until the end of the 1998/99 season.
Now, the brand – which sells shoes and clothes – has chosen to honour the years they partnered with the club as part of their 50th anniversary celebrations.
