Sir Bob Neill said Nadine Dorries's actions were motivated by 'personal bitterness and bile'
failure to quit for weeks after she first vowed to stand down as an MP was “an embarrassment” to the Conservative party.
He added that her behaviour was “self-centred” and said she had shown her attitude as “if I can’t get what I want, I’m going to throw my toys out of the pram”., saying her claims that he was “abandoning fundamental principles” of conservatism “takes the biscuit of all the political absurdity I’ve heard”.
