Toronto: Bleecker Street lands 'Military Wives' TIFF19
Directed by Peter Cattaneo,centers on a group of women in England whose partners are away serving in Afghanistan. Faced with their partners' absences, they form a choir and quickly find themselves at the center of a media sensation and global movement.
Kristin Scott Thomas, Sharon Horgan and Jason Flemyng star in the film that was produced by Ben Pugh, Rory Aitken and Piers Tempest. Executive producers include Peter Touche, Orlando Wood, Hana Canter, Emma Willis, René Besson, Zygi Kamasa, Stephen Spence, Emma Berkofsky, Tim Haslam, Hugo Grumbar, Liz Gallacher, Josh Varney, Josh Horsfield and Jo Bamford.
