UPDATE: Thursday’s Weather Authority Alert will continue through 4 p.m.

Light to moderate rains through 7pm– A tornado watch is in effect until 4 p.m. for Baker and Columbia counties in Florida and Brantley, Charlton, Pierce and Ware counties in Georgia.

The tornado warning for Ware County has expired and other are no more areas of concern and most of the rain has ended for our viewers in South Georgia for the next couple of hours.The main focus of the Weather Authority Alert was for possible tornadoes in Georgia. Threat this evening is for scattered downpours, mainly south of Jacksonville through 10pm tonight. There will be a few rumbles of thunder and a slight chance of a severe thunderstorm or two for Putnam and Flagler counties.The weird twist to this particular Weather Authority Alert Day may come from non-thunderstorm winds that will take place throughout the day. Winds, especially along area beaches and tall bridges , will be gusting above 25 mph.
