Speaking on Times Radio, the life peer and former leader of the House of Commons said Mr Johnson should realise sooner rather than later that it was ‘only going to get worse’. ‘Everything is possible, but at some point in the coming days, weeks or months this premiership is doomed and there’s no getting away from that.’
