The Paramount charge, releasing June 26, sees legendary pilot Maverick training a detachment of Top Gun graduates for a specialized mission, during which he encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw , call sign: “Rooster,” the son of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka “Goose”.
Joseph Kosinski directs the anticipated sequel, which is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Tom Cruise, Christopher McQuarrie and David Ellis. Script comes from Ehren Kruger and Eric Warren Singer and Christopher McQuarrie.
