Memorandums between the former PM and his officials, ministers and world leaders have been released to the National Archives in Kew, revealing some of the inner workings of the former Labour government.

This is unlikely to be helpful."On friction with Mr Blair's cabinet, notes reveal not one senior minister enjoyed the annual"away days" held at the PM's country home of Chequers.David Milliband, then a No 10 special adviser, complained that no company would run them in such a haphazard fashion.
