To celebrate the TV battle, alaMar Dominican Kitchen is holding a watch party tonight from 9 to 10 p.m. at 100 Grand Ave. #111, Oakland. The chef and his crew will be in attendance, with the show playing on a big-screen TV, and reservations are available on OpenTable . Nelson’s competitor in beating Bobby Flay this evening is chef Carlos Anthony, who works at Herb & Wood in San Diego, a restaurant from Brian Malarkey of “Top Chef: All-Stars.” The judging panel includes Southern chef Kardea Brown and actor Kevin Pollak.
