'I've been seeing Molly and the baby once a week for the past ten weeks. It's been so tough.'
Tommy Fury admitted he couldn't be a "cuddly dad or fiancé" to Molly-Mae Hague and their daughter Bambi as he returned home after 10 weeks following the controversial bout with YouTuber KSI.
Tommy was announced as the winner in Manchester having been awarded the fight by two of the three judges at ringside. The third scored the fight a draw but had failed to add his scores together properly, and had in fact awarded the fight to Tommy by the same 57-56 score as his fellow officials.Tommy defeated KSI in front of a sold-out crowd at Manchester's AO Arena and the new dad-of-one proclaimed that his win was "for Manchester".
"I've been seeing Molly and the baby once a week for the past 10 weeks. It's been so tough but at the end of the day I can't switch from being a super dad and a cuddly dad and fiancé, giving kisses and cuddles out, to then two hours later going to train and wanting to rip someone's head off." Tommy then explained: "It's tough because I don't like to balance home life, family life and my job. I keep them both completely separate because at the end of the day nothing comes before my family and home life, but it wouldn't be fair to come in through the door with just the fight on my mind, and that's all you need when you're in training camp."
