During the pandemic, the federal Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services ordered states to suspend the requirement for Medicaid recipients to reapply yearly. But that suspension is over, and those on Medicaid must reapply by March 31. “Our priority right now is to promote awareness and to help our clients understand the timeline and the steps that need to be taken to redetermine eligibility,” Executive Commissioner Cecile Erwin Young said.
