Asteroid City star Tom Hanks has shared his four favorite movies of all time. The star has been an iconic part of the Hollywood firmament since he first rose to fame in the 1980s in projects including the sitcom Bosom Buddies and the movies Big, The Money Pit, The 'Burbs, and Bachelor Party.
While the actor briefly waffled, discussing how his favorite movies were very different at age 10 versus his adulthood, he firmly planted his flag for Stanley Kubrick's 1968 classic 2001: A Space Odyssey, saying "I still watch it a couple of times a year." After some tough decision-making, he listed his remaining three titles: 1946's The Best Years of Our Lives, 1964's A Hard Day's Night, and 1969's Midnight Cowboy.
