The men’s marathon is Sunday morning in the northern city of Sapporo . The final event on the schedule is the men’s gold medal match in water polo at 4:30 p.m. local time .It begins at 8 p.m. Tokyo time and is scheduled to last two and a half hours. The ceremony takes place in Tokyo’s National Stadium.

Americans can also stream coverage live on NBCOlympics.com. In addition, NBC will broadcast a delayed version of the closing ceremony Sunday night starting at 8 p.m. Eastern in a program that also includes features such as the top five moments of the Games.Like the opening ceremony, the closing ceremony features athletes from each of the more than 200 participating countries, including each nation’s flag-bearer.
