Today’s ‘Wordle’ Word Of The Day Answer
This one was interesting. I got lucky because I always guess CRANE as my first word, thanks to a YouTube video I watched about what mathematically the best word is supposed to be . That got me the start with C.
Then I tried CALMS, as I figured I’d might snag an M or an S, common letters. That got me the A at least, so I was on my way. Also figured out there was an L in there, but not in that spot. After that, I had Destiny 2 on my mind, so I put in CABAL, which maybe wasn’t the best play, but hey, it moved the L around, right?
Finally, after trying to think of a ton of CA words that end in LY, I figured I was probably on the wrong track. I thought about all the home improvement projects we’re doing before my baby came, and CAULK it was. I was right!I have already seen some level of confusion from perhaps the younger crowd who may not know what caulk is at all, given that they may not have used the product themselves. Caulk comes in a tube and is meant to seal air/water leaks in gaps.
So, that’s all the Wordle for today. I will search for a second rogue answer floating around out there like yesterday, but nothing so far.“Today’s word, , sticks to the path of a fairly specialized word, no? It comes to us via Middle English and Latin, with ancient meanings of “to tread” and “heal.” The same root gives us the technical name for the heel bone: . But then, you knew that already.
