Tennessee Titans drop another hint about Houston Oilers throwback uniforms
None of this is a surprise. At last year's owners meetings, Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk, the daughter of the late Bud Adams, made it clear it was in the works.
"Oilers history is Titans history," she said in March 2022."We know our fans feel passionately about showcasing that legacy on game day, and we're actively working on making throwback jerseys possible in the near future. Stay tuned!" Most old Oilers fans who now root for the Texans may not like seeing the Luv Ya Blue era uniforms being worn in Nashville, but there's not much anyone can do about it. When Bud Adams moved the Oilers to Tennessee in 1997, he took all of the franchise's history with him, including the logo and the record books.
