Tinley Park officials have given tentative approval to two new hotels near the interchange of Interstate 80 and La Grange Road which, including another hotel under construction, give the village 13 lodging locations.
They would be north of a Country Inn & Suites and Hilton Garden Inn hotels that are nearer to the I-80/La Grange interchange.The tentative approval came at the Aug. 2 Village Board meeting, where trustees also said they will support a resolution with Cook County to provide the developer with property tax breaks, although they don’t require any upfront money from the village.The village will also hold a public hearing at 6:15 p.m. Aug.
