Tiktoker shows how people at Tesco can get their food for free with little-known code
A secret code people at Tesco can use to get items for free has been revealed by an employee. On TikTok, the worker - known as Officer_Doofy - shared the code on how customers can get products without needing to pay for them.
While the label will show what price the item has been reduced to, when you reach the checkout till it should be reduced further. The employee then scans their Tesco Clubcard after scanning the 'CS' coded items - which brought the total from £8.65 to zero, as reported by the Echo. But like many things, there is a catch as this only applies to people who work at the supermarket. Officer_Doofy went on to say: "As a Tesco colleague, after 9pm any reduced item with CS on the sticker is free."
Tik-Tok-Ting asked: "Who works at Tesco? I need a friend." Chris said: "I might have to change jobs to afford food." Chelle said: "Tesco donates the yellow sticker items to Olio before 8.30pm - so now we know why some of the items 'wont scan'."
