One person was trapped in a car, but Pennsylvania State Police said none of the injuries are life-threatening.
Three people were hurt Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Route 11/15 in Perry County. Dan Gleiter | [email protected] people were hurt and a major midstate highway was closed for about an hour Saturday after a crash in Penn Township, Perry County.
Cpl. Brent Miller of Pennsylvania State Police Newport Barracks said the crash occurred at 3:05 p.m. on Routes 11/15, when a northbound Chevy Silverado pick-up truck crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a Hyundai Elentra sedan. Miller said both drivers and a passenger in the Elantra were injured and taken to area hospitals for treatment, though their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. Fire crews from Duncannon had to free one of the victims from their vehicle because of the crash damage.Perry County emergency dispatchers said the crash investigation and clean-up caused the highway to be closed for about an hour, but both lanes are open now.
