Investigation launched after suspected stabbing near Lincoln pub
Lincolnshire Police have issued a statement following a serious assault near Lincoln High Street yesterday:
We were called to reports that a fight had broken out in the car park of the Treaty of Commerce pub just south of the train barriers in High Street at around 3.30pm yesterday . On arrival, officers found a man in his 30s with a serious injury requiring medical attention and gave assistance until paramedics arrived.
Officers immediately conducted searches of the local area and other enquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident. Following swift investigations, we arrested a 45-year-old man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and he remains in police custody. We also arrested a 22-year-old man and a 34-year-old man on suspicion of the same offence. They have been released on police bail with conditions not to enter Albion Yard or contact the victim.
