More than a dozen roads in San Antonio area remain closed due to flooding concerns.

As of 8:15 a.m., CPS Energy reported 337 outages affecting 9,178 people in all areas of Bexar County, according to the utility’s outage map. At peak yesterday, the utility was reporting 45,000 outages. As of 8 a.m., county crews have closed 15 area roads due to flooding concerns, according to the county’s Bexarflood.org.
Road closures in San Antonio include Hildebrand Avenue, Devine Road, Old Seguin Road on I-35, and Old Blanco Road. CPS Energy said utility crews will work throughout today to restore outages. Crews will focus on the outages impacting the greatest number of customers first and then will work to restore small outages.CPS Energy is warning people to avoid downed power lines and to treat all wires as if they are live.
