In Orange County, a voluntary evacuation order was lifted for Silverado Canyon and Williams Canyon in the Bond Fire burn area as of 7 a.m.
And officials said Duarte experienced very little impact in the Fish Fire area, with only minor muddy water buildup behind some k-rails. But some 20,000 people were without power throughout Southern California Saturday morning as crews rushed to clear downed wires and trees. The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power was responding to over a dozen outages affecting more than 1,000 people. Southern California Edison did not have an estimated response time for outages on Saturday. LADWP said that outages could take up to 12 hours to address. A blizzard warning is in effect in the mountain areas until 4 p.m. Saturday, with the storm expected to taper off. Sunday should be dry and cool.
