Santa himself was a guest on the show where he answered questions sent in by viewers’ children about how many elves he has and why Rudolph’s nose is red.
One very sweet little girl called Asia-Rae asked him how many presents he could fit into his sleigh – which is a very good question seeing as the big man has to travel to every house around the world in one night to drop off all those gifts.Santa continued: ‘And inside the sack, it goes all the way back to the North Pole – it’s almost like a Tardis, so I go in it and there’s presents there and people just pass them up from the North Pole straight into the sack.
‘What a brilliant invention that is,’ commented Phillip Schofield, to which Santa responded: ‘I don;t want it to fall into the wrong hands, you know.Viewers were quick to jump on the ‘magic sack’ comment, tweeting: ‘Who knew?
