And viewers tuning into the show on Wednesday, June 7, believe they have found the "perfect fit" for Phil's replacement, as Holly was joined by fellow ITV co-star Craig Doyle, who often presents alongside Josie Gibson. "ABSOLUTELY should keep Craig on This Morning permanently! He is the perfect fit with Holly! #thismorning #craigdoyle," wrote one viewer as they took to Twitter during Wednesday's show.
A fourth quipped: "Craig Doyle’s an absolute joy isn’t he? He’s very natural & clearly gets on well with Holly. Could he be the perfect replacement for you know who? #ThisMorning." Holly made her big return to the iconic ITV sofa this week as she addressed the news of Phil's affair for the first time on This Morning when she asked viewers if they were ok, before going on to explain her "hurt" at being lied to.
