To build this hotel, many technical issues must be addressed. Atak reckons the pool would be the most challenging for engineers due to the cliff’s “height [and] hydrostatic pressure.” Another concern is the cold weather condition, which could be especially tricky for construction work. Among the critical factors such as emergency exits, proper ventilation, electrical and plumbing systems, Hatfield’s biggest concern is carving out space within the cliff and lining it with a structure strong enough to prevent the surrounding rock from caving in on it.
