Two suspects were arrested at the scene
Two thieves were caught driving away from a retail park in Tameside with more than £550 worth of suspected stolen items.
The two people in the car were arrested for six theft offences, police said. One of the suspects was also arrested for driving without insurance. The vehicle was seized and police returned the items back to the stores on the retail park. A post shared on the GMP Tameside Facebook page said: "*ARREST* Two suspects were arrested on the 22/11/2022 after they made off in a vehicle at Crown Point North in Denton, stopped whilst leaving the retail park by #Denton North East Neighbourhood officers.
