Clarkson got her chance with Samantha Howell, an 19-year-old Virginia native who auditioned with REO Speedwagon's "Take It On The Run."The"American Idol" alum didn't let a second go by, instantly blocking Shelton after hearing"a millisecond" of Howell's voice. The block left Shelton pulling his hair out of his head.
