The Tourist is coming back, but there's a catch.
The Tourist season 2 gets a bleak update after its surprising renewal. Created by Harry and Jack Williams, The Tourist centers on The Man who wakes up in a hospital with zero memory of who he is and how he got there. Spending the first of six episodes in a state of utter uncertainty, Dornan’s protagonist is helped along by Helen Chamber , as the traffic cop aids The Man in uncovering the details behind the horrific car crash that led to his amnesia.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT TVLine confirms that Max is cutting ties with the Dornan-led drama. The Tourist season 1 will leave the streaming service, formerly known as HBO Max, on September 8. Max also won't be airing episodes of the upcoming second season. It remains unclear at the moment if All3Media, the production company behind The Tourist, is in talks with other platforms about acquiring the show.
