Stefano Fabbri, the owner of Pomo Pizzeria Napoletana, is opening a new restaurant in downtown Phoenix.
Described as the"big brother" to Pomo, Rōsso will serve a more elevated menu along with a globally-inspired wine and cocktail list.Rōsso is Italian, but according to Fabbri, it won't compete with Pomo. The almost 4,000 square-foot space has a 150-person capacity between the indoor dining room and the patio.These Arizona chefs and restaurants are James Beard Awards semifinalists.Fabbri's favorite dish on the new menu is tagliata di manzo: sliced steak served over piadina, an Italian flatbread from Fabbri's hometown of Romagna, with house made sauce and potatoes.
