Thanks to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, work could not begin on the next season even if Hulu were to renew it for season 2. Since it would still need to be developed and filmed, a 2025 release date feels more realistic for The Other Black Girl season 2.
There could be some alterations due to unforeseen events preventing the actors from returning, as is the case with all TV shows, but the cast of The Other Black Girl season 2 is unlikely to deviate much from the established lineup. It’s also likely that The Other Black Girl season 2 will introduce some new cast members, though there’s been no word yet on who they are or the characters they could be playing.
