It's the Belfast library that's home to no books but every tool you'll ever need and it's proved to be a huge hit in the community over the past four years.
Kitted out with a number of heavy-duty tools and with a team of dedicated and skilled volunteers, participants benefit from space and support to work on their own projects and make, fix, learn and do more for themselves. “Members pay £25 - or less if this is too much for them, and can access everything from a screwdriver to a pressure washer, garden tools, sewing machines, ladders and trolleys.
Ema added: “Our workshop is open twice a week on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings while the lending library is open on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. “Many years ago a friend gave me a meditation stool and after a few years having been redundant post-Covid I had this clever idea of making one myself - that was the start of the trouble!” he explained.
