As they explore the strange connection between Carol, Monica, and Kamala and their powers, The Marvels could notably expand the MCU’s multiverse.
The Marvels may be the key to the MCU’s multiversal storytelling. Phase 5 is in full swing, and thanks to Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania the Multiverse Saga has taken a considerable step forward. It not only introduced Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, but it then took him off the table, presumably temporarily, and introduced his variants, the Council of Kangs. Theories and rumors abound claiming they’ll be the main antagonists in various upcoming projects.
Their connection will likely develop into a significant and meaningful relationship between the three heroes, but it could also play right into Phase 5’s expansion of the multiverse and how it will all culminate in Avengers: Secret Wars. In addition to the conundrum of them swapping places, the dynamic trio must also face off against the Kree Empire once again. The Marvels should correct a Captain Marvel mistake and make the Kree a serious threat, just as it can do for the multiverse.
At the very least the bangles must be linked with the Ten Rings. The symbol for the Ten Rings organization was shown where Kamala’s great-grandmother, Aisha, found the bangle. Additionally, it was found on a blue being’s arm. Naturally, MCU fans are wired to connect that to the Kree, which begs another theory that the bangle was one of the Nega-Bands.
