is brutal and unflinching in its presentation of the opponents on the other side of the battlefield of King Henry V . The English king, also known as Hal, inherits a war with France along with the crown after the death of his father.
The Dauphin of France is casually arrogant in his challenges to England, exuding confidence from experience that Hal does not have. While the French army is a massive imposing force, there may be opponents lingering amongst Hal’s own. “They have their own kingdoms behind their eyes,” his sister warns him of his comrades.
