The Flash season 8 teases LegendsOfTomorrow crossover:
co-showrunner Phil Klemmer recently addressed the character joining the show, saying bringing Booster in was a"tonal fit and just knowing".."You just knew that he was going to work as kind of a bit of the merry prankster, a bit of a BS artist."
Speaking of Faison, he added:"You have these moments of not wanting to allow yourself to get your heart set on someone like Donald Faison and we saw it taking shape and [couldn't] believe this [was] happening. And then you have this moment of finally meeting the guy, and obviously we're all super familiar with his work.
"He just hopped on a Zoom from... For whatever reason he was hiding in his wife's closet. I think it had good acoustics or he was trying to avoid something else in the house. And you're like, 'This guy is the best.' This guy loves the show, loves the world. He's as steeped in this stuff as any of us who've been working on the show for seven years."
