The first baby Scotland welcomed in 2023 is the star of a sweet photoshoot featuring his clan tartan.
The first-time parents were stunned to be approached by a professional photographer who offered to document their bundle of joy. The resulting photographs by Lynne Harper show the wee baby wrapped up in Moffat clan tartan with a woolly bonnet to boot.A special clan kilt pin held the fabric together - and the placid tot managed not be sick.
She explained: "She heard about him being the first baby born in Scotland this year and got in touch. It's Moffat clan tartan, Lynne got it from House of Cashmere."
