This week, county lines gang leader Christopher Williams and his money laundering girlfriend Lauren Callister were ordered to pay back £25k of their ill-gotten gains.

“Every day we are working pro-actively to gather intelligence and carry out operations to both disrupt county lines drug dealers and to identify those at risk from this type of criminality. We have made a number of arrests which is pleasing. You should expect to see more arrests in the coming weeks and months as we continue taking the fight to groups wanting to deal drugs in our county.”

The five other member of the OCG were sentenced at an earlier hearing in March. Abrar Ahmed, 24, of Kingsway, Manchester, Yasir Ali, 22, of Meade Grove, Manchester, Shavon Morrison, 21, of Claremont Road, Manchester and Richard Mushonga 21, of Medway Close, Salford were all arrested and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply class A drugs.Ahmed was jailed for five years, Ali for four years eight months, and Morrison and Mushonga each sentenced to three years and four months in prison.

An Accrington-based drugs gang that supplied thousands of pounds worth of class A drugs have been jailed for more than 30 years. Junaid Khan, 22, of Lime Road, Accrington, was charged with was convicted of conspiring to supply crack cocaine and heroin. He was jailed for 12 years and eight months.
