The San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs will fight to be No. 1 on the football field in Super Bowl LIV this Sunday. But the Chiefs have already won the battle for tickets sold across the U.S. through a top online marketplace.
USA TODAY analyzed NFL regular-season ticket sales purchased through Chicago-based ticket marketplace The Cowboys sold home tickets in 8,523 ZIPs over the past two seasons – far more than the next highest team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Even when considering both Kansas and Missouri as the Chiefs' home state, more fans purchased Chiefs tickets from ZIP codes outside their home states. The Cowboys tickets are the majority of ticket sales in more ZIP codes. Dallas had a majority of sales in nearly 2,500 ZIPs across the nation, outpacing the Super Bowl-bound Chiefs.Search for or tap on any ZIP code to see which team is the most popular by percentage of ticket sales.
