Zackery’s bespoke suit came via Kyosuke Kunimoto at Maison Lance in Tokyo, who he has long admired. “I showed him a picture of a double-breasted suit that Serge Gainsbourg wore when he married Jane Birkin,” notes the groom. “We worked completely remotely, which I was skeptical about at first, but I was blown away by his attention to detail and what he was able to do from the other side of the world. It fit like a glove.” With a vintage bolo tie for added Americana flare, Zackery was set.
The now-husband and wife wanted to keep the wedding as sustainable as possible, and hired all local vendors. Catering was perfected by Queen & Whippet, and they eschewed cake in favor of ice cream, with a vintage van by Winstones delighting the crowd. Justin O’Shea supplied all the Moët, and threw in some custom Lola X Zackery Belvedere vodka magnums for the wedding party.
