The Boys Black Noir actor Nathan Mitchell teases Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s badass role in Season 4.
Black Noir actor Nathan Mitchell has teased Jeffrey Dean Morgan tackling a “badass” role in the highly anticipated season 4 of The Boys. Developed by Supernatural creator Eric Kripke, based on the comic book series from Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys has gone on to become one of the most successful series on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service since its 2019 debut.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Kripke had originally intended for Morgan to appear in season 3 of his hit show, but the actor’s commitments on The Walking Dead prevented him from being able to join the cast. Instead, it was later announced that he would be joining the season 4 cast in an as-yet undisclosed role. While Morgan’s character remains a closely guarded secret, Mitchell recently offered fans a few tidbits about what they might expect while talking with The Movie Dweeb.
I would say his sun sign is ‘Badass’, and his moon sign is ‘You don’t even want to f-cking know’… I don’t know how much can be revealed about that character, but I think the coolest thing about this show is we’re always going in different directions, and showing you different storylines and different characters in ways you wouldn’t expect. So I think that Jefferey Dean Morgan is going to play a role that stays with fans for a long time.
One character from the comics that many fans think would be perfect for Morgan is the sex-addicted crime fighter known as Tek Knight. A parody of DC’s Batman and Marvel’s Iron Man, Tek Knight is a perverted billionaire who wears an advanced suit to aid him in his crime-fighting escapades. As one of the few Supes that Billy Butcher does not hate, having him assume the mantle of Tek Knight could also see him potentially pair up with the show’s titular vigilantes against Homelander.
All The New Faces Joining The Boys In Season 4 Of course, Morgan is not the only new face to join The Boys in season 4. The show has previously announced that two new Supes will be joining their ranks in the form of Firecracker and Sister Sage . Also joining the cast is yet another Supernatural alum, in the form of Rob Benedict, as well as How to Get Away with Murder’s Elliot Knight.
