The bar and restaurant, which took over a former Wetherspoons, first opened in 2017
Bosses behind The Botanist's south Manchester venue have announced that it is closing its doors for good after six years.
Owned by the New World Trading Company , which also runs the Oast House in Spinningfields and the Smugglers’ Cove in Liverpool, the Didsbury venue first opened in 2017 after taking over the former Milson Rhodes pub site from Wetherspoons. The venture is described as being a place where 'resident botanists craft unusual concoctions' featuring a wide-array of unusual cocktails and drinks, alongside a bustling food menu.
A spokesperson for New World Trading Company told the M.E.N: "As we move forward as a business with a clear growth strategy and an exciting pipeline of openings for the year ahead, we recently positioned some smaller sites for sale and can confirm our Didsbury venue has now closed.
