The stars of The Batman recall their first impressions of Robert Pattinson's Batsuit. Few upcoming movies seem to have the same level of anticipation as DC's The Batman. Directed by Matt Reeves, the film was originally scheduled to debut last year, but the coronavirus pandemic pushed it back to this weekend. Box office projections have The Batman opening to at least $100 million, hinting at how eager fans are to see the movie.
Jeffrey Wright: When we rehearsed, he was only in the cowl and with the cowl I could see he was slightly self conscious about like, “Is this going to work?” And I looked at him and was like ah interesting… then he went back and changed and came out and it was full on. He was the Batman! It just looked right.
