TheApprentice announces 2023 return for new series with Claude Littner comeback
The upcoming series is set to be bigger and better than ever, with an extended number of candidates that will participate in tasks overseas, as well as in the UK.
The candidates will be hit with a heavy task from day one, as they will begin the competition in the exotic location of Antigua, where they must create and sell excursions to tourists. BBC Two's The Apprentice: You’re Fired, also returns along with the new series, as comedian Tom Allen steps back in the role of host, and the show will air each week on BBC Two, right after the main show, as the contestants are discussed.
Series 16 of The Apprentice aired between January-March of this year, and the series saw a record viewership for the launch episode at 8.9 million — the highest viewings since the series’ 2017 final.
