The 1975's Matt Healy makes savage dig at Rage Against The Machine during Leeds Festival set leedsfest Leedsfestival2022
The 1975’s Matt Healy addressed the elephant in the room when he paid a sweary tribute to Rage Against The Machine.
They have pulled their European tour performances after frontman Zack de la Rocha injured his leg mid-performance in Chicago during a recent gig. The 1975’s last-minute booking as a replacement certainly got people talking. Lead singer Matt Healy couldn’t help but make reference to this during their Leeds Fest headline set. He said: "We are The 1975 from down the road. This is the most hometown show that we have. Seventeen of the past 20 years I have been stood here with you guys so this means so f******* much to me that you guys are here right now.
