After all, how could the biggest sporting spectacle in the world miss out on the experience of playing in front of Philadelphia’s famous fans?
Hershey’s finest, Christian Pulisic, weighed in on Philadelphia winning its bid to host the men’s World Cup tournament.One key element of the successful bid was the excellent stadium the city has available, along with public transportation to the area. “Philadelphia’s selection as a 2026 World Cup host city reinforces just how valuable the Stadium District is for our city,” said Valerie Camillo, President of the Wells Fargo Center. “By the time these World Cup matches kick off, the Stadium District will have even more bars, restaurants, and new facilities as we continue building it into the country’s top sports and entertainment hubs.”
