AUSTIN –Bijan Robinson spent Thursday afternoon on campus, sitting courtside for a Sweet Sixteen volleyball matchup between top-seeded Texas and Marquette at Gregory Gym.
By beating out Michigan junior Blake Corum and Illinois junior Chase Brown for the award, Robinson became the fourth Longhorn halfback to win the Doak since its inception. Ricky Williams , Cedric Benson and D’Onta Foreman all previously claimed the award. Pro Football Focus gave Robinson a 95.1 running grade and 94.4 offensive grade, which trailed only Corum . Robinson also played 105 more snaps than his Wolverine counterpart while leading the nation in broken tackles and ranking fourth in total yards after contact .
