Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said Wednesday at the NFL combine that he has talked with Cooks since he became head coach, but did not specify what came of those conversations. Cooks requested to be traded midway through the 2022 season, then reiterated his desire to be moved after the season. “I have spoken with Brandin, and that process will have to play itself out,” Ryans said. “We’ll do what’s best for our team. Great guy, I would love to work with him.”
