Greg Gianforte .According to NBC News, Tester's campaign account had $10 million in it at the quarter's close. The campaign noted that the sum raised between April and June made it his best second-quarter total for a non-election year.

Tester is relatively well-liked among Montanans. He has an approval rating of 42% among Montana voters who disapprove of President Joe Biden. This is significantly better than Sens. Joe Manchin , Sherrod Brown , Bob Casey , Tim Kaine , Jacky Rosen , and Tammy Baldwin , none of whom were able to break 34% in the same category.
