Supermarket chains Tesco, Waitrose and Home Bargains have sent out 'do not eat' warnings to customers over various products. The items being recalled by the Food Standards Agency include chocolate milk, salt and jelly products.
Chocomel Interstoq is recalling Chocomel because it contains milk, which is not listed in English on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents. Interstoq supplies the chocolate drink brand to Home Bargains.Best before: 07 November 2023 and November 29, 2023
Salt Dri Pak recalls Dri Pak Table Salt because it may contain small pieces of plastic. The possible presence of plastic makes this product unsafe to eat. The products affected are only sold at Home Bargains.The FSA said: "If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought or contact [email protected] for a full refund.
Pate Findlater’s Fine Foods recalls Findlater’s Roast Smoked Salmon Pate because it contains mustard which is not declared on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to mustard. The recall only affects products sold in Waitrose stores.Use by: 09 August 2023
