New alternative products will be delivered to stores over the next two weeks
Tesco is replacing more than 50 well-known branded items in its Express stores with cheaper alternatives as they try to to help shoppers with the cost of living crisis.
Shoppers will find the own-brand choices are over 40% cheaper than the products on the shelf. Some of the items being introduced are Tesco penne pasta and Tesco smooth peanut butter - both of which cost hald the price of the previous branded product stocked.
