Glastonbury goers have left Worthy Farm but there's a sea of rubbish to clean up Curiously
Glastonbury 2023 has officially come to a close and the clean-up operation at Worthy Farm has begun.
Crowds of litter pickers have taken to the fields to collect piles of rubbish. Despite the festival's 'love the Farm, leave no trace' policy, it would seem many 2023 festival goers ignored this as pictures show all sorts of rubbish strewn across the festival site. Tents, plastic bags, food containers and cans are being cleared from the site in Somerset after more than 210,000 people attended the five-day festival. This year's music extravaganza was brought to a close by headlining act Elton John last night, which marked the final UK show of his farewell tour, reportsOther highlights included headline sets from The Arctic Monkeys and Guns N' Roses.
