This reporter made it to 12 sports out of 34. We met one reporter who made it to 20 sports. We didn’t see everything in person. It was physically impossible to do that. But we saw a lot from July 7-17 and here are 10 things we learned at the World Games.They put a bowling alley in the BJCC. Yes, no kidding.

A mechanic runs on to do a tire change during a break in the action at wheelchair rugby at the CrossPlex. Floorball is like hockey but not on ice and with a wiffle ball instead of a puck. There’s a lot more scoring than in ice hockey because the footing is better and it’s easier to hit a wiffle ball than a puck, apparently. For spectators, getting hit by a wiffle ball is a real possibility.The “security perimeter” for The World Games was a bomb.
