Hot week ahead: Temperatures expected to heat up throughout the week, breaking 100 degrees

National Weather Service

The coming week is expected to be hot, with temperatures near 100 degrees most days, area forecasters said. "The weak ahead is all about high pressure that will keep the rain away and the heat in play," said Travis Herzog and David Tillman of the Accuweather 13 team of meteorologists at KTRK-TV. Expect"afternoon high temperatures in the mid-upper 90s every day beginning Monday and lasting through, at least, Father's Day weekend."according to the National Weather Service

. At night, things should cool down to 77 degrees and counties north of Houston may see showers in the evening. Here are the SE TX temp forecasts for tonight/Mon/Mon night. It is possible a few showers/storms could move across our far northern counties this evening and again tomorrow evening. Otherwise, getting hotter areawide!
